01Who we are

Vertex Software Solutions (“Vertex”, “we”, “us”) is a software development company in Udaipur, Rajasthan, registered as an MSME under Udyam, building software since 2018. Our address is First Floor, Ashirwad Bhawan, Near Anushka Law College, Janakpuri, Transport Nagar, Udaipur, Rajasthan 313003.

This policy covers this website (vertexsoftwareudaipur.com), the enquiries you send us, and the apps and software we build, host and support. Some of our products have their own privacy policy (for example LiquorHub); for those products, their own policy applies first.

It is written to meet the Information Technology Act, 2000, the related Reasonable Security Practices Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

02What we collect

• When you contact us: your name, phone number, email, business name and the project details you share by the enquiry form, WhatsApp, phone or email.
• When you use our apps: account details (such as name, mobile number and email), and the business records you or your staff enter, such as sales, stock, orders, customers, students, patients or staff.
• Technical data: device type, app version, IP address and logs, used to keep accounts secure and fix problems.
• Payments: handled by payment gateways such as Razorpay, PayU, Paytm or PhonePe. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or net banking password.

The enquiry form on this website does not save anything on our server. It opens WhatsApp with your message ready to send; WhatsApp is run by Meta under its own privacy policy.

03How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes and stay in touch about your project.
• To build, deliver, host and support the software you asked for.
• To run your account: logins, OTPs, receipts, reminders and service messages by SMS, WhatsApp or email.
• To keep our systems secure, prevent fraud and meet legal and tax requirements.
• To improve our products, using information that does not identify you wherever possible.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not show third-party advertising in our apps.

04Data inside software we build for you

When we build or host software for a business, that business decides what data it collects about its own customers, students, patients or staff. We process that data only on the business’s behalf and only to provide the service. We keep it confidential and do not use it for anything else.

05Who we share it with

Only with service providers we need to run the service, and only what they need:

• Cloud hosting and storage providers.
• SMS, WhatsApp and email providers that deliver messages.
• Payment gateways that process payments.
• Google Play and the Apple App Store, which publish mobile apps.
• Google services, such as Google Drive backup, when you turn them on.

We may also share information when the law requires it, or with a successor if our business is merged or transferred, under the same protections.

06Where data is kept and how it is protected

Data is stored on secure servers. Connections use encryption (HTTPS), access is limited to people who need it, and we keep backups. No system is completely secure; if a breach affects your personal data, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.

07How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details while we are discussing or working on your project, and delete them on request. App data is kept while your account is active and for as long as tax or other laws require after that. When an account is closed, you can ask us to export and then delete its data.

08Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it where consent is the basis. You can also nominate someone to act for you and raise a grievance. Write to us using the details in the Grievance Officer section; we may need to confirm your identity first.

09Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google can see your IP address when the page loads. Our apps use essential cookies or local storage to keep you signed in.

10Children

Our services are meant for businesses and institutions. We do not knowingly collect data directly from anyone under 18. Where a school or college uses our software for students, the institution is responsible for getting the consent of parents or guardians where required.

11Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. For important changes we will also inform active customers.
